HORRILLAS Kickstarter – Chillers! Thrillers! All Gorillas!

The latest Kickstarter from Pete Taylor’s Catfood Comics collects stories featuring a cast of supernatural simians. Tales of the cursed mummy Bobo Ho-Tep, deranged divided doctor Congo Hyde, Goorilla the sickening slime from the stars and nuclear fused mutant behemoth Gorzerka have been announced with two further strips yet to be revealed. All the stories are hosted, in the style of EC Comics, by the Wretched Warden, The Zookeeper.

The comic magazine will be 40 pages, a mix of colour and black and white and US magazine sized (210mm w x 280mm h, 8.25″ w x 11″ h).

The campaign launched on the 3rd July and was funded within 24 hours. Rewards include the full range of Catfood Comics books, A5 sketches and, later in the campaign, original comic page artwork.

Previous successful campaigns from Pete include The Seven Sagas of Silverbeard and The Catfood Comics 3-Pack. He is also a founding member of the indie comics collective, The Skrawl Lordz and collaborated in the two SKRAWL comix magazine Kickstarters.
